New for Winter 2026 is our U-12/-13 Training Group.​

General Details Below (more will be announced when available):

​​This training group would be those who were born July 1st, of 2012 and later (born between July 1st, 2012 and now).  We will consider including those who just missed the cut off date, but are looking to target a group which will fit the U12 age group (were born July 1st, 2013 and now) as well.

Tentative Schedule (subject to change and may have additional practices/opportunities):

1/4/26: 1st Practice @ GCU (7:15-8:30)

1/11/26- Practice @ GCU (7:15-8:30)

1/18/26- Practice @ GCU (7:15-8:30)

1/25/26- Practice @ GCU  (7:15-8:30)

2/1/26- Scrimmage's with Shore VB Club Alternative Teams  (Afternoon or Evening)

2/7/26- Probable Scrimmage (Info to be available soon)

No Practice 2/8/26 (Super Bowl)

No Practice 2/15/26 (GCU Event)

2/22/26- Practice @ GCU (7:15-8:30)

3/1/26- Practice @ GCU (7:15-8:30)

3/8/26- Practice @ GCU (7:15-8:30)

3/15/26- Scrimmage's with Shore VB Club Alternative Teams  (Afternoon or Evening)

3/22/26- Practice @ GCU  (7:15-8:30)

Will add another 1-2 practices on the backend of this schedule.

​Other Tentative POSSIBLE scrimmages to be scheduled Scrimmages(guaranteed 2 others, but possibly all 3 or more) :
Scrimmage with Princeton VBC (Princeton Area, NJ)

Scrimmage with Garden State Elite Volleyball Club (Mine Hill Township, NJ)

Scrimmage with Side-Out-Sports Volleyball Club (Fairfield, NJ)

**We are looking to also schedule 2-3 other practices (which would not be Sunday nights) to get additional practice hours within the first half of the season.  At least one would be over the two week early February window when we are off Sunday Nights.

- Insurance through K&K Insurance- no other AAU/USAV memberships required.

Coach Jason Ulrich will be the Head Coach for the group, with the Assistance of our other Directors and Court Coaches who rotate through sessions.  

​

This will not be a formal travel team, but a consistent training group with the focus on individual skill development within the group.   We are looking for complete overall volleyball development, not pushing anyone into a position so early into their development.  ​

​

There is a possibility these age groups progress to "formal" club teams in the future.

​

For those who are 100% interested in participating in a Shore VB Academy Winter program, we are recommending you register for a winter clinic program, to reserve your space there.  If you ultimately train with this group we can move your registration over no problem.  Our winter programs do fill, so we would not want you to miss out waiting on this to develop while everything shakes out.
